What's On? "The Power of Two". Coming June 1st.
Filmdrome proudly presents, a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation event, "The Power of Two". The film will be featured on Friday, June 1st at 7:00 p.m. in the Belbas Theater of the Washington Pavilion. While the event is free and open to the public, please RSVP to reserve a seat. The event will kick off with a reception, starting in the lobby of the Belbas Theater at 5:00 p.m., and be followed by a special Q&A session. The Q&A with be conducted with the Academy Award nominated producer, Marc Smolowitz, who directed the film, and Anabel Stenzel and Isabel Stenzel Byrnes, who are here to share their amazing story.
Rated PG, "The Power of Two", inspired by their memoir of the same title, offers an intimate portrayal of the bond between half-Japanese twin sisters Anabel Stenzel and Isabel Stenzel Byrnes, highlighting their battle with the fatal genetic disease cystic fibrosis and their miraculous survival through double lung transplants.
